Deeper Please Tattoo is looking for passionate tattoo artists and aspiring apprentices who want to grow their craft, build their career, and be part of a team that takes tattooing seriously.
We are not just looking for someone to fill a spot in the studio.
We are looking for people who genuinely care about their work, are willing to keep learning, and want to grow together with us.
Tattoo APPrentices
We offer a structured 3 months Tattoo Apprenticeship Programme ($3,500) for aspiring artists who are serious about learning the craft and building a strong foundation in tattooing.
No prior tattooing experience is required. Throughout the programme, you will learn the fundamentals of tattooing, from tattoo equipments, hygiene and workstation setup to linework, shading, colour packing, skin knowledge, designing artwork specifically for tattoos, client preparation/communication and proper tattoo practices.Students are required to bring their own tattoo machine and iPad for use throughout the course.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need to know how to tattoo yet, but we do care about your attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.
Ideally, you should:
• Be passionate about tattooing and art
• Be willing to learn and accept feedback
• Be consistent, disciplined and responsible
• Be prepared to practise and improve outside of training
• Have a good attitude and work well with others
• Be serious about building tattooing as a career
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE 3 MONTHS?
At the end of the 3 months, we'll look at your overall progress, attitude, commitment, consistency, work ethic and how well you fit within the team.
If we feel that you're ready and that we're a good fit for each other, you may be given the opportunity to join Deeper Please Tattoo.
We will provide you with the environment and guidance to continue growing, but how far you go will ultimately depend on the effort and consistency you put into yourself.
Tattoo artists
We are looking for tattoo artists who are passionate about what they do and want a space where they can continue developing their own style and clientele.
You dont have to be the most experienced artist in the room, but we do care about your attitude and the quality of your work.
Ideally, you should:
• Have a strong interest and commitment to tattooing
• Have a portfolio of your tattoo work
• Maintain good hygiene and professional working standards
• Be open to learning and improving
• Have a good attitude towards clients and colleagues and work well with others
• Have good ethics and honesty
Most importantly, we want artists who take pride in their work and genuinely want to get better.
